- Respond to advising alias emails
- Coordinate logistics for events such as study away events, team building, and the monthly International Ed Luncheon. etc
- Support communication efforts such as WeChat posting, weekly AA newsletters, monthly ASP newsletters, and website updates.
- Assist in marketing initiatives and provide on-site support for advising related events and programs. Work requires some hours in the evenings and weekends.
- Manage triage during the walk-in hours
- Other duties as needed
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, or related academic field. Master’s degree in a related field preferred.
- Experience in academic advising or administrative support, preferably in an academic setting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, Canva, and other visual design tools.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to adhere to strict confidentiality and other ethical standards.
- Experience working in higher education or student services.
- Familiarity with FERPA and other student privacy regulations.
- Knowledge of academic advising principles or experience supporting student programs.
