- Identify potential strategic partners to support profitable growth of PL SN by strengthening the portfolio worldwide.
- Manage and grow strategic business relationships with partner companies globally.
- Conduct regular business review meetings to align on evolving needs and opportunities.
- Negotiation of contracts with technology and innovation partners.
- Oversee the full lifecycle of contracts (new, renewals, terminations) with partner companies.
- Act as the internal liaison for assigned partner companies.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives and ensure alignment across departments (Quality, Regulatory, production, SCM, R&D, Operations) globally.
- Mentor and develop colleagues in partnership and program management.
- Manage critical handover points between internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide regular updates on partnership status and strategic direction.
- Facilitate strategic discussions and contribute to agile, partner-oriented strategy development.
- Representation of strategic partnerships in the PL SN management team
- Continuously scan global market trends and customer needs in alignment with the market segments to identify gaps, emerging demands, and partnership‑driven growth opportunities.
- Translate market signals into clear business options, including make/buy/partner recommendations and commercial scenarios.
- Conduct competitive landscape assessments to benchmark partner portfolios, technologies, and go‑to‑market approaches.
- Evaluate partner fit and strategic relevance based on market attractiveness, differentiation potential, and competitive positioning.
- Consolidate insights into actionable opportunity briefs to guide portfolio decisions, partnership priorities, and strategic roadmaps.
- Proven professional experience in marketing or sales, ideally within specialty products, including strong capability in understanding customer needs and translating them into commercial opportunities.
- Proven ability to lead cross‑functional, matrix‑organized teams across geographical and disciplinary boundaries while fostering collaboration and accountability.
- Familiarity with initiating, negotiating, and maintaining strategic external partnerships (e.g., toll manufacturing agreements, industry collaborations) and ensuring their alignment with corporate objectives and compliance standards.
- Fluent English, both written and spoken.
- High degree of independence, creativity, teamwork ability, resilience, and interdisciplinary thinking.
