The primary responsibility of the position is the engineering development of chiller system technologies. In this capacity, the engineer will be primarily responsible to develop solutions that best meet the market needs by integrating multiple technologies in the product. To do this, the engineer must have a strong understanding of the thermodynamics’ of the chiller system, chiller modeling, tube in shell heat transfer, pressure vessel design and compression application.

Key Responsibilities:As a System Engineer, you’ll be responsible for:

Thermodynamic based modeling and optimization of chiller system design
Develop chiller system architecture that meets or exceeds the product development requirements
Develop and optimize heat exchanger components in collaboration with heat transfer technology experts
Validate product design performance, capability and reliability in the laboratory and field
Collaborate with the compression team to seamlessly integrate the compressor design into the chiller design
Collaborate with supply chain to meet product cost target
Collaborate with manufacturing faculties to effectively implement design into production
Collaborate with the product marketing teams to develop product requirements and that the product their meets their needs when launched

RequirementsAs a minimum you must have:

Master degree with major in Refrigeration & Cryogenics Engineering. On top of that, background with mechanical study preferred
Fluent English (both written and spoken)
Screw/scroll chiller experience preferred
Teamwork skills required
