High School English Teacher

• Teach British and American Literature for Grades 10–12
• Deliver Academic Writing courses (argumentation, research writing, citation, rhetorical analysis)
• Support preparation for AP, A-Level, or other international assessments (where applicable)
• Design schemes of work, assessments, and grading rubrics aligned with international standards
• Provide clear, detailed feedback on essays and extended writing
• Supervise extended research projects (e.g., coursework, capstone essays)
• Facilitate high-quality classroom discussion grounded in close reading and textual analysis
• Contribute to curriculum development and collaborate with the department team

• Bachelor’s degree or above (Master’s preferred) in English Literature, Comparative Literature, or a related field
• Minimum 2 years of secondary or post-secondary teaching experience
• Familiarity with MLA / APA / Chicago citation systems
• Ability to guide students in academic research and thesis development
• Experience teaching international or ESL students

• Monthly salary of 25,000 to 30,000 RMB commensurate with experience and qualifications
