- The Director of F&B is responsible for the overall administration and operations of the Food and Beverage Division including the maximization of profits, enhancement of customer's satisfaction through establishment of quality standards and maintenance of high staff morale.
- Daily communication with the Executive Chef to ensure food prepared are of the agreed standards and consistent all the time.
- To ensure consistency of quality, taste, presentation, temperature of beverage served in all restaurants and bars (according to group's standard).
- Ensures that the Shangri-La SFS Program is strictly implemented, including the cleanliness of all restaurants and bars, personal hygiene standards for all food handlers and monthly Hygiene Audits (Please refer to the SLIM web-site on Hygiene and Sanitation).
- Obtains maximum publicity to maintain a high profile for the F&B department.
- Check and analysis daily covers, average check and sales.
- Review and analyze monthly Profit and Loss statement with Financial Controller and GM / Hotel Manager / Resident Manager.
- Has a passion for F&B

- Thinks outside of the box whilst leading change in the hotel
- Preferably has a Bachelor's degree or relevant experience in a similar role
- Understands the global market and local environment
- Communicates and writes with fluency in English (as well as the local language)
- Has strong interpersonal skills
- Good and relationship building and diplomacy
