  • We are seeking a driven individual to help manage and develop our existing China book of business. This role is suitable for a candidate who is keen to contribute in driving and managing both potential and existing customers. This individual is expected to work closely with the Head of Greater China and be responsible for day-to-day customer inquiries and manage renewal of contracts with existing clients.
  • This role is for someone who has a passion for financial market data technology, with decent knowledge and experience in Commodity and Futures trading space. Preferably has previous experience working with FCM and Trading Shops, and is keen to build new relationships in both developed and emerging markets. In addition to an exciting opportunity to work with a fast-paced and dynamic team, the individual will get the opportunity to be exposed to a wide range of technical expertise in the trading technology field.
Responsibilities:New/Existing Business Initiatives
  • Working closely with regional sales head on new and upsell client opportunities in the assigned regions
  • Regular account servicing activities (KPI based)
  • Support regional head with development of key relationships with Banks, FCMs (Futures Commission Merchants), corporations and proprietary trading firms
  • Effectively deliver platform presentations to potential clients (will train)
  • Work on customer referrals and convert to sales
  • Maintain strong communication and relationship with existing clients to identify opportunities to grow footprints
Account Management
  • Gain a clear understanding of the client’s business & organization
  • Develop key relationships with decision makers, client operations team and key power users.
  • Push relevant product & service information to the client/prospect
  • Provide a regular presence at Key Account sites
  • Maintaining Customer Account Information
  • Always in the know with accounts covered, and constantly align with customers with a growth mindset, both financially and strategically.
  • Software, Market data, and Order Execution Support
  • Billing Support when required
  • On-site support for Key Accounts regularly and when required

Education, Experience, Skills:
  • Experience in sales & relationship management preferably within the financial technology space across Greater China/APAC
  • Experience in Futures and Commodity space, particularly prior experience in FCMs, trading software vendors or futures/physical trading a plus
  • Essential to have proficient level in both English and Chinese as the individual will communicate with internal colleagues and international partners and be responsible for managing existing and developing new business with clients in the assigned region.

Working Conditions:Located in Shanghai office, capacity to travel is a must in order to support business development / account management initiatives required for this role in various locations.
