- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the lower school, ensuring a safe and supportive learning environment for all students
- Lead, develop, and evaluate the lower school curriculum, ensuring it meets both the educational standards and the needs of the students
- Mentor and support teachers and staff, promoting professional development, innovative teaching practices, and a collaborative work environment
- Work closely with parents and guardians, facilitating strong school-family partnerships and addressing concerns related to student progress and wellbeing
- Implement strategies to monitor and assess student academic performance and social-emotional development, using data to drive instructional decisions
- Coordinate with other heads and the school administration to align lower school objectives with the overall strategic goals of the institution
- Manage the lower school budget, allocating resources efficiently to enhance educational programs and student experiences
- Lead recruitment, hiring, and retention efforts for lower school teachers and staff
- Promote an inclusive school culture that values diversity and equity, ensuring all students have the opportunity to succeed
- Organize and oversee lower school events, activities, and assemblies that contribute to the school community and student engagement
- Master’s degree in Education, Educational Leadership, or a related field
- A valid teaching certification
- Extensive experience in elementary education, with a proven track record of effective leadership in an international educational setting
- Strong knowledge of child development, educational theories, and best practices in elementary education
- Monthly Salary of 32,000 to 34,000 RMB commensurate with experience and qualifications
- Monthly leadership allowance of 3,000 RMB
