Responsibilities include, but are not limited to performing and coordinating a variety of administrative duties and tasks including, (the job specification can be extended or subject to change)
OperationsReview procedures and recommend solutions in order to improve efficienciesEnsure adherence to all internal and external audit standardsImplementation of fund structures onto accounting systemSolving operational problems encountered on a day-to-day basis.Ongoing development of the business by liaising with the senior management and ensuring full communication from bottom up and implementation of new processes and controls as required.Ensuring client enquiries are answered in accordance with Apex service standards on an ongoing basis.Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and other requirements of the funds’ specifications.Planning and organizing workload and helping prioritization of deliverables.Ensuring best practice are adopted and improving processes to gain efficienciesAccounting:Review of accounting entries & consolidation account for a portfolio of managed funds/portfolio companies/ Property companies, ensuring their accuracy and compliance with fund governing and regulatory proceduresReview of Trial Balance, GL, Cash & portfolio reconciliation, Income & expense accruals and other reportsReview of quarterly GST calculations, if applicableReview of draft financial statementsLiaise with Auditors for timely completion of Financial AuditsInvestor Services:Review all capital activity pertaining to the funds (Capital calls and Distributions)Resolve issues and communicate with investors ensuring all investor information is complete and up to dateReview periodic capital/NAV statementsTeam Management:Review the work of team members and provide feedback for improvement in order to guarantee timely delivery and quality of workAd-Hoc Reports requests and operation metrics as required by managementSkills Required:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance required6+ years of real estate fund accounting work experienceExperience in reviewing and preparing financial statementsExcellent communication skills and proficiency in English (both Verbal and written)Motivated, bright and diligent individual who is driven to meet deadlinesAttention to detail and ability to work on multiple projectsA team leader who can manage individual responsibilitiesAdvanced level MS excel, proficient with MS Word, MS PowerPointKnowledge and prior experience on Efront or yardi is a highly desirableA professional designation such a C.A., C.P.A., or C.M.A. etc., would be an assetWhat you will get in return:A genuinely unique opportunity to be part of an expanding large global business;Competitive remuneration commensurate with skills and experience;Training and development opportunitiesAdditional information:
