- Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline covering AI-Enabled Evinova platform products and professional services.
- Own and achieve assigned quarterly and annual sales targets in the China market.
- Overall accountability to develop meaningful relationships with key customers which deliver commercial sales for Evinova. Understanding customer difficulties, identifying areas of opportunity and able to demonstrate strategic problem solving.
- Drive the full sales cycle from lead qualification and proposal development to contract negotiation and closing.
- A global/local remit in customer strategy development, including the business development process from awareness, discovery, consideration, go through procurement processes for system validation, and contract. Support the commercial strategy for each customer with a view to exceeding targets and deliver success.
- Build and maintain a healthy, balanced pipeline across target segments (pharma companies, biotech, CROs, hospitals).
- Accurately forecast deal progression and revenue performance using CRM tools.
- Ensure visibility into pipeline status, deal risk, and sales performance metrics.
- Develop deep relationships with customer stakeholders across clinical, digital, and procurement functions.
- Conduct product and solution presentations, and business case development tailored to customer needs.
- Serve as the voice of the customer to internal teams, ensuring continuous refinement of value propositions and go-to-market messaging.
- Solving issue and handling risks as it relates to customers, being a partner both internally and externally and supporting excellence in behaviors and partnership.
- Track market trends, competitor moves, and regulatory changes impacting digital clinical research in China.
- Identify customer pain points and position our solutions as strategic enablers of efficiency, compliance, and patient-centricity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop strategies for market expansion, client acquisition, and partnerships. This involves activities to identify new leads, ensuring marketing activities are in place, driving opportunities to impact pipeline expansion and velocity of opportunities to drive sales.
- Work cross-functionally with solution delivery and product teams to ensure smooth handovers and high customer satisfaction post-sale.
- Bachelor’s degree required; Background in Life Sciences, Computer Science, Business, Healthcare, Engineering or related field; Master’s or MBA is a plus.
- 10+ years of experience in business development, enterprise sales, or client engagement roles in the pharmaceutical, CRO, or healthcare technology sectors.
- Proven success in consultative selling and meeting/exceeding revenue targets in complex B2B environments.
- Well-known in the industry with extensive experience in software sales and delivery of commercial value.
- Exceptional network and sales experience externally and well recognised and reputation.
- Extensive experience bringing innovation to solve complex and multi-dimensional issues from an operational, technical, financial, and human perspective.
- Deep understanding of digital clinical research technologies (e.g., AI, eCOA, EDC, eConsent, RTSM, etc) and SaaS models.
- Proven ability to influence at the most senior level in external organisations to get to sales.
- Customer focus -- dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers.
- Strong customer focus and commitment to improving patient experiences.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical thinking, pipeline discipline, and CRM proficiency (e.g., Salesforce).
- Goal-oriented, result-driven and ’Can-do’ attitude.
- Fluent English and Mandarin, both can be used as working language.
