Job DescriptionMain Duties and Responsibilities:Maintaining and administering all LAN, WAN & SD-WAN and related cloud computing network infrastructure across all onsite and remote locations.Collaborating with network architects to design and implement functional company networks across all Airasia Group.Creating and implementing network security measures including network policies, SOP, establishing connections and firewalls configurations.Maximize network performance and availability by conducting regular resiliency testing, monitoring, root cause analysis of network problems and outages, scheduling upgrades on network optimisation, capacity management including availability, utilization, throughput and latency.Plan and upgrade all network related equipment to the latest stable firmware releasesInvolved in 24/7 Network operation both remote and onsite during installation and Level 2 & 3 troubleshooting at various airports and remote offices.Resolve technical issues relative to software or hardware and escalated network support issues.Ensure all changes are in adherence to to the Airasia IT Change Management SOP and PoliciesUpgrades network by conferring with vendors; developing, testing, evaluating, and installingenhancements.Planning and executing; installation, configuration, and post production testing of networkequipment.Support other office technology such as wireless infrastructure, PABX telephony system & Meeting Room video conferencingManage IT equipment store and PC deployment to staffUndertake to provide resolutions and/or workaround solutions to desktop operational issues/requests in a timely mannerExecute Ad-hoc task given by superiorQualifications and Requirements:Possess a Diploma / Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent.At least 3-5 years of solid working experience in the related fields.Possess good verbal and written communication skills in English.Must have a minimum of 3 years' experience in Networking Administration and Engineering.Good understanding of networking protocols (e.g., IPSEC, HSRP, VPN, HA, NAT, 802.11, 802.1x,QoS,) and layer 3 routing and associated protocolsConfigure and maintain various network hardware platforms such as routers, wireless, switches and firewalls.Preferable to have working experience in Public Cloud (GCP/AWS/Azure).Self-motivated, ability to multitask, interact with all levels of users, team player.
