If you are looking for an opportunity to be deeply involved in the development of cutting-edge map service and research in the geography industry, then you should join our team!Get to know the roleWe are looking for an experienced backend engineer to collaborate with team members in different locations and build core map service to help our driver partners to finish their jobs in a most effective way. You will get closer to the core indicators of the business, and use massive amounts of real data to explore their relevance to reality. Most importantly, You'll have the opportunity to drive technology forward with bit-by-point insights, collaboratively drive creative initiatives, and ultimately make an impact on consumer and business.The Day-to-Day Activities

Design and enhance cutting edge services in GO language setting a high standard for availability, scalability, latency, and efficiency
Work with the engineering team to explore and create new design/architectures geared towards scale and performance
Participate in code and design reviews to maintain our high development standards
Engage in service capacity and demand planning, software performance analysis, tuning, and optimization
Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define and prototype feature specifications
Build and scale backend services as well as performing root cause analysis investigations
Design, build, analyze and debug complex, production software that serve millions of users in Southeast Asia
Write high-quality code as well as unit tests, functional and end-to-end tests

QualificationsThe Must-Haves

At least 5 years of experience in software engineering in a distributed systems environment.
Strong Computer Science fundamentals in algorithms and data structures.
Experience in developing and maintaining large scale micro-services.
Passionate about building products and features to accelerate business growth.
• Proficient in LiDAR-based multi-sensor fusion SLAM for high-precision mapping and localization.
Familiar with multi-sensor fusion frameworks integrating camera, LiDAR, IMU, GPS and other positioning sensors.
Solid experience in visual reconstruction and in-depth knowledge of Visual-SLAM systems.
Skilled in point cloud coloring, texture mapping and 3D reconstruction technologies.
Capable of automatic map element detection and intelligent annotation for digital maps.
Hands-on experience in LiDAR perception algorithm development, productization and deployment is a strong plus.

The Nice-to-Haves

Background/experience in GEO, map-making domain.
Good data analytical skills and big data knowledge.
Familiarity with database, message queue and elastic search.
Familiarity with cloud systems, such as AWS or Azure.
Full stack development experience.
You can be a good coder in any programming language, but willing to work on Golang. Proficiency in Golang will be a strong advantage.
