Key Responsibilities:Strategic Leadership:
  • Provide medical leadership and vision across non-oncology therapeutic areas, aligning clinical strategy with corporate objectives and global regulatory expectations.
Clinical Development Oversight:
  • Lead the design and execution of clinical development programs (Phase I-III), including protocol development, trial execution, data analysis, and regulatory submissions.
Team Management:
  • Inspire, manage, and grow a high-performing team of approximately 100 physicians and clinical professionals across China and other global locations.
Cross-Border Collaboration:
  • Drive close coordination between China- and U.S.-based R&D and regulatory teams to ensure seamless execution of global development strategies.
Scientific Governance:
  • Ensure scientific rigor and medical accuracy across clinical programs and communications; oversee safety monitoring, benefit-risk assessments, and medical review processes.
Regulatory Strategy:
  • Collaborate with global and regional regulatory teams to support interactions with major health authorities, including NMPA, FDA, and EMA.
Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Develop strong relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), academic institutions, CROs, and strategic partners to enhance pipeline value and global visibility.

  • MD (or equivalent medical degree) required; board certification in a relevant speciality preferred (e.g., Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Neurology, Endocrinology, Immunology).
  • 15+ years of clinical development or medical affairs experience in the biopharmaceutical industry, including leadership of global programs.
  • Proven expertise in at least one therapeutic area among Metabolism, Immunology, Cardiovascular, CNS, or Ophthalmology.
  • Demonstrated success managing large clinical organisations and building cross-functional teams across regions.
  • Familiarity with global regulatory environments, especially FDA and NMPA.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Mandarin and English is strongly preferred.
  • Prior experience working across China and U.S. markets is highly desirable.
