The Senior Hardware Engineer at Sun King will manage the hardware development of solar energy storage DC systems. You will drive the technical direction for DC-coupled architectures, optimize power conversion efficiency, and ensure system reliability across our solar storage product portfolio.What you will be expected to do
- Design hardware solutions and key circuits for DC-coupled energy storage systems.
- Develop PV-side MPPT controllers and DC/DC converters.
- Integrate multi-port DC systems for PV, battery, and DC load applications.
- Conduct system debugging, testing, and technical documentation.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, with 6+ years of experience in power electronics hardware development.
- Familiar with DC/DC converter topologies; able to complete schematic design with minimal guidance.
- Understand power semiconductor devices, magnetic components, and thermal design principles.
- Experience in solar, or energy storage is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving ability and teamwork mindset.
