Job Description:

Identify, diagnose, and resolve complex Layer 3 network issues in enterprise environments.
Design, configure, and support scalable, redundant, and highly available networks using OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, and RIP.
Perform device upgrades, patching, reboots, and post-maintenance verification on Cisco routers, switches, and F5 load balancers.
Implement and manage firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, access controls, and network segmentation to ensure compliance and security.
Work closely with Network Lead and L2 Engineers to execute tasks, recover network services, and drive projects.
Manage vendor escalations, support incident response, and contribute to performance tuning and capacity planning.
Maintain network documentation and ensure clear stakeholder communication across technical and non-technical teams.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or relevant studies
Minimum 3 years or above experience working as a Network Engineer, with a focus on Layer 3 technologies and complex network solutions.
Hands-on experience with OSPF, BGP, and other routing protocols.
Familiar with Cisco and F5 network devices.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Understanding of network security fundamentals (firewalls, VPN, ACLs).
