- Safely operate all equipment associated with the drying/energy/environmental controls area and give direction to workers to assist them with the same.
- Operate drying/energy systems to provide in-spec dry strands and thermal heat to downstream production systems.
- Operate all environmental control equipment within permitted parameters and immediately report any problems to the proper authorities.
- Must be able to understand process flow, and upset conditions.
- Must be able to recognize upset conditions and to apply appropriate corrective measures before the problem escalates. This requires a high degree of independent thinking and decision making under stress.
