About the roleAs a Flowith DevOps Engineer, you will spearhead the foundational maintenance of our product systems, optimize microservice architectures for reliability, design and implement comprehensive monitoring solutions, and manage database performance including PostgreSQL backup and recovery, all while using operational tools to enhance overall IT efficiency. Your background in computer science, proficiency with Linux, network protocols, cloud platforms, and problem-solving skills will ensure seamless system performance and reliability, supporting our mission to deliver cutting-edge AI productivity tools, and enabling continuous innovation and operational excellence aligned with Flowith's vision.Responsibilities:
  • Take ownership of the foundational operations for our product systems, ensuring smooth and reliable service delivery.
  • Manage capacity planning, service monitoring, troubleshooting incidents, and optimizing architecture within our microservices ecosystem to enhance overall system reliability.
  • Design and implement monitoring systems—defining key metrics, data collection, visualization, and alerting—to proactively oversee system health.
  • Handle database management and optimization, including monitoring, backup, recovery, and tuning for mainstream databases like Postgres.
  • Build and refine operational management tools to elevate the quality and efficiency of our entire IT operation.
Requirements
  • Strong background in computer science or related fields.
  • Proficient in configuring, troubleshooting, and tuning Linux operating systems on a daily basis.
  • Skilled with common Linux commands and Bash scripting.
  • Deep understanding of network protocols such as TCP/IP, UDP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS.
  • Familiar with core public cloud platforms, including their use cases and configuration options.
  • Excellent communication skills, team-oriented mindset, and strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
