- Responsible for providing applications support of KLA’s Metrology products.
- Present product functionalities and measurement results to customers and execute head-to-head (H2H) benchmark projects against competitors on customer equipment.
- Collaborate closely with internal departments—including Engineering, Sales, and Marketing—as well as distributors and customers. Provide training to channel partners to enhance their customer support capabilities.
- Provide advanced application support to customer field service engineers; lead or collaborate in resolving issues through remote or on-site troubleshooting.
- Conduct experiments to evaluate new customer or market requirements, and drive collaborative development initiatives to deliver solutions that meet those needs.
- Support new product introduction activities, including product feature validation, alpha testing, beta testing, and equipment readiness for new product deployment.
- Deliver application support and training for distributors and customers. Develop BKM (Best Known Method) documents, application notes, and other training materials, and share product-related insights with the global KLA applications team.
- Provide product support primarily within the domestic region, with occasional international travel for product training and technical discussions. Estimated travel requirement: approximately 20%.
- Demonstrated strong adaptability, ownership, self-learning capability, and ability to work independently, with proven competence in managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent situational responsiveness and the ability to address customer-related issues effectively in real time.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong team-oriented mindset and the ability to collaborate effectively across functions.
- Experience using metrology tools such as stylus profilers, interferometers, reflectometers, sheet resistance, and nano indenters is preferred.
- Have MS in Engineering, Physics, Material Science or related fields.
- Fluent in English: Listening/Speaking/Reading/Writing
- Comfortable of 20~30% travel for customer onsite support, sometimes international travel.
