Job Overview 综述:Working under the Asia Compounding CTG Leader, this new Principle CTG Engineer will cover manufacture plants and tolling facilities in Asia, provide compounding/pultrusion technical supporting including stewardship enhancement, process improvements, new product scale-ups, alternative raw material qualifications, products transfer between different sites, modification & new-build capital projects, quality & reliability improvements, cost saving and cost projects driving, as well as mentor to coach new engineers etc., to implementation of “best-in-class” specialty product resins compounding(or pultrusion) within company.This role will be based at Nanjing city and accept business trip within Asia.Responsibilities 职责:
  • Responsible to identify, drive implementation, and track global best practices and stewardship improvements for compounding equipment, processes, and product processing globally
  • Work with the Asia Compounding Leader to finalize and participate in the equipment layout, selection, workflows, and startup for planned compounding process area expansions within global compounding/pultrusion units
  • Liaison between compounding peers in Europe, Asia, and the Americas related to products, process, equipment technology, process control transfers globally
  • Identification of key equipment and process improvements to maintain year-on-year productivity
  • Working with key stakeholders including Technology and Innovation, commercial and Pipeline business, and MFG groups to assess needs and drive scale-up, cost reduction, raw material certifications, transfer of products and technology within the Asia region
Qualifications 要求:
  • Bachelor degree with engineering material, chemical of material, polymer, master is a plus
  • ~10+ years previous experience in a plastics compounding including: extrusion/compounding equipment technology and troubleshooting, mixing/ blending equipment, solids handling, pelletizing equipment, classification, and packaging processes and equipment in the Asia region
  • Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification if have
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills( oral and written, English), tact, diplomacy, independence
  • Mature, organized self-starter with a demonstrated ability to work as an effective team member in establishing priorities, and achieving goals and objectives when faced with varied and conflicting demands
  • Proven priority and time management skills – well organized, ability to effectively prioritize/plan and manage multiple events simultaneously
  • ~5+ years previous experience in Scale-up process management and experience from T&I to MFG site, familiar with data analysis, Minitab a plus.
  • Good computer & document management skills, including all MS Office software, esp. spreadsheet applications and word processing. Experience with PI, SPC, SAP a plus
  • Accept International traveling within Asia
