This role involves collaborating and challenging project teams to provide cost effective estimates in accordance with schedule and execution plan.Responsibilities

Be responsible for the verification, consolidation of accurate estimates, effective management, and reliable control of project costs throughout the project lifecycle.
Develop and control cost estimates, analyzing cost variances, and ensuring that projects are completed within approved budgets.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, finance teams, and other stakeholders to provide financial insights and support effective decision-making.
Manage and mentor cost engineers within the team.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering, project management, construction management, quantity surveying, finance, or a related field. A professional certification (e.g., AACE, PMP, CCE, MRICS) is a plus.
10+ years' experience in cost estimate, project cost control, quantity surveying within the oil and gas sector, energy sector and infrastructure sector.
