PD Engineer

• The role is mainly for new products' scaling-up. To handle the products from lab scale to mass production, ensure the process and quality stable.

• The Process Development Engineer is primarily responsible for scale-up activities, process innovation in domestic and international manufacturing sites for electronic applications.

• Will work as a technical liaison with R&D, Operations, Marketing, and Sales to drive scale up activities. Provide technical and engineering support to successfully launch new products.

• Support production trials and use scientific approach to understand relationship between raw materials, process and final product parameters. Define success criteria for new product production, conduct process documentation and act as technical expert at the manufacturing site to facilitate the transfer of technology knowledge and best operation practices.

• Master's degree with Chemistry related majors.

• Fluent English.

• 3 years+ work experience on scale up validation of chemical production especially adhesive industry.

• Strong background in statistics (JMP, MINITAB) and quality tools preferred. Familiarity with SPC principles and application to batch processes. Competent in problem solving techniques such as DOE, SPC, FMEA, PPAP, MCA, etc.

• Extensive knowledge of materials, chemistry, techniques, applications, operations in related area.

• Team worker and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
