The Account Manager is responsible for providing account management services to a defined portfolio of large, high-profile regional accounts within the metals (or non-ferrous metals) industry. The primary goal of this role is to achieve revenue targets and maximize the adoption of AVEVA solutions and services across these accounts. Additionally, the position is expected to transition into a people management role in the near future.Key responsibilitiesResponsible for assigned vertical industry sales target & quotaPlanning and deploying industry development plans, setting up replicable industry business models, and administering account plansDeveloping and maintaining the partner network in the industryCoordinating and deploying industry marketing activitiesUnderstanding customer requirements and providing efficient solutions in a timely mannerUnderstanding company policies and strictly implementing themWorking closely with upper-level management to deliver accurate informationMaintaining good contract quality and cash return recordEssential requirementsAt least 5 years of direct sales experience in a relevant domainGood knowledge of the metals (or non-ferrous metals) industry; a major in Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Science, or related fields is preferredEnglish reading and writing ability is preferredDesired skillsGood communication skills and a proactive work attitudeStrong collaboration within and outside the teamDemonstrate AVEVA Values of Impact, Aspiration, Curiosity, and TrustCommercial at AVEVAOur Commercial team, comprised of over 2,000 dedicated colleagues, is the backbone of our customer relationships and business growth.
