  • Build and refine the SOX 404 compliance framework, specifically tailored for a digital asset exchange environment.
  • Work closely with Engineering and Product teams for automated controls for on-chain transactions, cold/hot wallet management, and automated reconciliation.
  • Perform annual and ongoing risk assessments to identify key financial reporting risks unique to crypto (e.g., private key management, and gas fee accounting).
  • Serve as the point of contact for external auditors in managing walkthroughs, testing, and evidence collection.
  • Partner with business owners to design any remediation plans.
What you'll need
  • 6+ years in Internal Audit / SOX compliance / Public Accounting (Big 4).
  • Understanding of how blockchains work, including wallet architecture, exchange mechanics, and the lifecycle of a digital asset transaction.
  • Experience with SOC 1 / SOC 2 reports and an understanding of IT General Controls (ITGC) in cloud-native (AWS/GCP) environments.
  • CPA, CIA, or CISA preferred.
