- Support detailed business concept phase for OMP implementation and support implementation for HDPE products
- Gain deep knowledge of Supply Chain Boundary conditions of Supply Chain in HDPE
- Support in the implementation of the OMP tool for HDPE
- Support implementation of planning optimization tool
- Test, validate, document, and deploy changes through the system landscape and present the requested functionalities to planners and other stakeholders in future.
- Collaborate with OMP Project Manager and all other various stakeholders along the implementation timeline.
- Be a team player, support the team on other initiatives in the area of supply chain management related to planning and supply chain topics.
- In the future, ensuring the planning and scheduling of production activities for specific products of its competence, collecting the demand, optimizing the use of the lines, verifying the availability of raw materials.Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business management, Economics, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline with clear focus on supply chain management/operations management; Master's degree is a plus; Long-term experience
- A minimum of 5-8 years' experience in supply chain planning
- Mature knowledge of BASF processes/ IT systems/ environment in petrochemicals supply chain and marketing.
- Profound Experience in Petrochemicals supply chain is a must.
- Experience in development with focus on supply chain planning solutions is a plus.
- Expertise in Planning and SAP
- Practical knowledge and pro-found experience in MS Power Point and Excel
- Understanding of business management practices like CRM, Sales Force is a plus.
- Fluent English and Knowledge of Mandarin is a plus.
- High conceptual and simulation capability
- Good Project Management skills
- Creative problem-solving & approaching data and problems with a clear eye on what is important; employing the right approach/methods to make the maximum use of time.
