Company:Qualcomm China## Job Area:Engineering Group, Engineering Group > Systems EngineeringGeneral Summary:Position OverviewWe are seeking an engineer specializing in the development of robotic vision perception systems. This role involves end-to-end R&D, from image processing to semantic understanding, enabling robots to achieve autonomous perception, task comprehension, and intelligent interaction in complex environments.Responsibilities
- Design and implement robotic vision perception modules, including but not limited to object detection, recognition, and segmentation
- Develop multimodal perception systems by integrating data from RGB cameras, depth sensors, LiDAR, etc., to achieve environmental mapping and semantic understanding
- Build models for object detection, pose estimation, and semantic segmentation to support robotic task execution and path planning
- Participate in the development and optimization of core algorithms such as 3D reconstruction and visual navigation
- Collaborate with planning and control teams to ensure efficient integration between perception and decision-making modules
- Write technical documentation and contribute to project reports, patent applications, and academic exchanges
- Master’s degree or above in Computer Vision, Robotics, or related fields
- Solid understanding of key vision tasks such as image processing, object detection, semantic segmentation, and pose estimation
- Experience in multi-sensor fusion, SLAM, or 3D vision projects is preferred
- Strong programming skills in Python and/or C++; experience in engineering development is a plus
- Excellent teamwork and cross-functional communication skills
- Hands-on experience deploying robotic vision systems in mobile robots, robotic arms, service robots, etc.
- Familiarity with ViT (Vision Transformers) or other cutting-edge vision models
- Contributions to open-source projects or publications in top-tier journals/conferences
- Experience developing multimodal perception systems
