As a Product Manager at Kody, you’ll be responsible for shaping, executing, and refining our product vision in detail across various product streams in the payments, finance, and loyalty ecosystem. This role demands a proactive, detail-oriented, technically-minded product leader who thrives in the minutiae and is eager to dig into each detail. You’ll champion the product from ideation to release, wearing both a technical and commercial hat, making strategic decisions to push Kody’s product suite forward. The ideal candidate will thrive working in a chaotic and complex environment and will not rely on internal documentation, most of which is out of date before it's finished being written. This is not a traditional Product Manager role where you spend time paper-pushing or writing endless specifications. Kody management assesses all product work-streams daily. This is a role for those who thrive on making multiple decisions per day independently and making meaningful progress on a daily basis.Success will be measured on your ability to own every detail of a product, including why we're doing it, why it's prioritized as it is, its specification, and keeping all stakeholders engaged with your plan. This is a senior role with real responsibility. There’s a lot of work to be done! We want you to select the activities that will have the maximum impact on commercial outcomes and focus on them.Requirements
  • Product Ownership: Lead a comprehensive product stream, taking ownership of every product detail within that stream. From conception through execution, you’ll handle multiple products within a stream, ensuring each aligns with our business goals and meets customer needs.
  • Legal & Compliance:
  • Own and maintain supplier contracts, merchant Terms & Conditions, and pricing agreements.
  • Review, draft, and suggest amendments to contracts before engaging legal counsel, ensuring alignment with Kody’s risk and business objectives.
  • Work with legal counsel to structure commercial agreements, update terms, and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Technical Expertise: Partner closely with engineering; having coded or worked directly with code before, you’ll act as a bridge between technical and non-technical teams, providing clarity on requirements and ensuring feasible and valuable product outcomes.
  • Customer Collaboration: Engage actively with enterprise customers to understand their needs and pain points, translating these insights into impactful product improvements and ensuring a user-focused experience. This means regularly visiting, speaking with, and developing relationships with customers.
  • Communication & Commercial Insight: Collaborate with stakeholders across Kody to align product decisions with commercial goals, ensuring a seamless connection between product design, development, and sales.
  • Launch Management: Spearhead product rollouts with a hands-on approach, including detailed coordination of launch activities, documentation, training materials, and post-launch analysis.
  • Data-Driven Improvements: Use analytics to guide decisions, track performance, and continuously improve our product offerings, focusing on enterprise-grade results and responsiveness.
