TasksThe Station Agent is responsible for:
  • Ensure necessary communication with relevant local & central departments
  • Ensure the aircraft is loaded in accordance with the corresponding loading instruction
  • Ensure necessary communication with relevant local & central departments
  • Register & ensure payment for excess luggage, upgrades & other ancillary services
  • Carry out all check-in & gate/boarding procedures in accordance with the appropriate guidelines & airline manuals
  • Handle irregularities in providing alternative flights, arranging ground transportation & hotel
  • Arrange delivery of delayed baggage in accordance with the appropriate guidelines & airline manuals
  • Carry out all duties required to ensure a successful & quality orientated operation of our Lounge
  • Carry out any other operational / administrative duties assigned

  • High school degree
  • Vocational training desirable
  • 1-3 years of working experience desirable
  • Fluent knowledge of English both spoken and written required
  • Knowledge of German language desirable
  • Driving license
  • PC skills
  • Diligent and systematic approach to work
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Sales skills, confident manner
  • Team player
  • Manage constant time pressure
  • No permanently assigned work station
  • Weather factors and noise pollution
  • Lifting of luggage up to 23kg/70lb
  • Possibly psychological aptitude test
  • Must be willing to work shifts
