We are looking for an IB PYP Curriculum Coordinator for an international kindergarten based in Nanjing starting from the upcoming 2025-2026 academic year.About the schoolThis early childhood learning academy, located in Nanjing, is part of a well-established U.S. preschool franchise with multiple campuses across China. It provides a caring, bilingual environment for children from infancy through kindergarten, following a professionally developed U.S.-based curriculum. With a focus on the “Hug First, Then Teach” philosophy, the school emphasizes whole-child development through structured programs in language, STEAM, and social-emotional learning. The Nanjing campus features safe, engaging learning spaces led by experienced local and international educators dedicated to supporting each child's growth in a nurturing, family-oriented setting.Job Responsibilities
  • Lead the planning, development, and implementation of the IB PYP curriculum in alignment with IB standards and ensure continuous curriculum improvement.
  • Oversee curriculum delivery and student learning, including assessment practices and individualized support strategies.
  • Guide and support teachers through professional development, classroom observation, feedback, and personalized growth plans.
  • Facilitate collaboration across departments and promote an inquiry-based, student-centered learning environment.
  • Act as the main liaison with the IB organization, managing authorization and evaluation processes.
  • Strengthen communication with parents through briefings, regular updates, and engagement activities to support home-school collaboration.
Candidate Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or above in Education or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years of IB PYP teaching or coordination experience
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Proven ability to manage curriculum planning and professional development
  • Familiarity with IB programme evaluation, authorization, and pedagogical standards
  • Experience working in bilingual or international school environments preferred
