Applications include fueling stations, marine engines, peak shaving, power generation, virtual pipelines, and well stimulation. 概述:The Business Development Manager reports to the Director, Business Development for Heat Exchanger Functional Unit and is responsible for identifying growth opportunities, build strategic partnerships, and drive business expansion for their region (China). The role is charged with focusing on generating new leads, improving market presence, and increasing revenue through new customer acquisition, relationship management, and exploring new markets or products. Additionally, this individual will collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement strategies that align with the company’s overall goals. 资质:Work EnvironmentThis job operates in both a professional office and an industrial manufacturing environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, scanners, filing cabinets, etc… as well as exposure to small to large scale manufacturing equipment within the facility. The role will not be expected to operate manufacturing machinery. Additional hours may be necessary as the workload dictates. This may include weekdays, weekends, nights and/or holidays.Physical DemandsThe employee must be able to sit, stand, or work at the computer for prolonged periods. The position supports operations in the manufacturing facility, which requires being on the shop floor for extended periods of time. Safety equipment must be utilized as specified to enter production areas. May be subject to hot and cold environments, loud noise, and typical manufacturing exposures. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, use hands, and reach with hands and arms. This role may require extensive international travel to a Customer’s office or site, production facility or industrial/construction job site. Conditions will vary at each location, but the conditions listed above will generally apply. Candidates will be required to show a driving abstract with a clean driving history for travel between the Nikkiso facilities and client sites/offices as required. A valid driver’s license is necessary.Education and Experience
  • BS in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Master’s in business or engineering will be a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in International Business Development Environment.
  • Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
  • Willingness to travel extensively in the region and work as a team player in a global team of professionals.
  • Knowledge of heat exchangers, vacuum insulated lines and related equipment and services for LNG, H2, and Industrial Gases applications.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English and Mandarin)
  • Strong customer service, negotiation, and entrepreneurial skills.
  • Ability to collaborate across departments and business units to provide enterprise solutions to customers.
  • Communicate proactively and transparently.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced sales environment with aggressive deadlines and high customer expectations.
  • Ability to utilize Salesforce or similar Customer Relationship Management software as well Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Word.

  • Develop the business within your assigned region, as per guidelines of the Functional Unit giving each Product its best chance in the market.
  • Ensure the full and detailed utilization of Salesforce (CRM)
  • Nurture and strengthen customer relationship and loyalty, provide world class customer service.
  • Report all market information related to technology, economy, regulations, competition, etc.
  • Ensure that all Business Review Meetings with each responsible functional unit are conducted regularly with valuable and detailed information to support your profitable growth mission.
  • Support in the management of distributors, partners, and Agents used in the assigned territory
  • Focus on price management as a key factor to maximize profit levels, while minimizing your marketing cost.
  • Ensure that you and your future team have the necessary tools to perform your job efficiently and in a professional manner.
  • Plan routine visits to all our major customers, in order to build a long term mutually beneficial relationship.
  • Proactively identify and follow up on customer problems internally and externally, in order to ensure that all customers are satisfied with our products’ reliability and service support.
  • The territory will include all of China.
  • Support the business in other territories, as required.
Supervisory ResponsibilityThis position does not have direct reports initially. May be responsible for growing department and adding direct reports with business growth.
