Job Title:Lab Technician - Process TechnologySummary: Complete assigned lab activities following regulation and EHS requirements and regularly report the results to supervisor. TQM (Total Quality Management) documentation management for China Process Technology with guidance from supervisor.Responsibilities Include:
Execute daily lab experiments given by supervisor and record experimental data and observations objectively in an organized laboratory notebook
Handle relevant equipment for chemical processing and testing based on the standard operating procedures independently
Provide charts, graphs and written summaries of experimental results to process engineers.
Continues improvement for process to make lad work more effective
Maintain safe operations and orderly laboratory work environment at all times.
Build up and maintain the TQM file management system and assist daily documentation management with guidance from supervisor.
Support on laboratory management including 5S, Safety, facilitators and preparations.
Qualifications:The following are required for the role
Bachelors in chemistry or Polymer Science.
5-8 years’ experience in related field.
Able to write and read in English.
Awareness of safe laboratory operations and chemical handling.
Demonstrate basic understanding of polymer/compounding chemistry.
Good documentation management skills.
Open-minded with good interpersonal & communication skills.
Self-motivated, results-oriented, careful attention to detail and high level of initiative ability.
Preferred qualification
Master’s degree in chemistry or Polymer Science.
2-5 years’ experience in Chemical Company.
