This internship offers hands-on exposure to corporate compliance practices in an international business environment, with a focus on compliance documentation, data protection, and cross-border regulatory research.Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of compliance documentation and records.
  • Conduct regulatory research on compliance-related topics across multiple jurisdictions in Asia.
  • Support the drafting of compliance communications and training materials.
  • Assist with compliance register maintenance, internal investigations, and risk mapping.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams on data protection projects, including data mapping, assessment, and progress tracking.
  • Help prepare internal reports and presentations related to the compliance and data protection initiatives.
Qualifications:
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law, with an expected graduation in 2026 or 2027. A focus on data protection or privacy law is preferred.
  • PRC Bar qualification is a plus.
  • Strong English proficiency, with excellent legal writing, research, and communication skills.
  • Prior internship experience at PRC or international law firms is preferred.
  • Detail-oriented, quick to learn, and capable of managing multiple tasks under pressure.
