Job Title Product Industrialization Engineer-IGTSJob DescriptionAs a Product Industrialization Engineer within Image Guided Therapy Systems you design, change and implement a high quality, high performing production line for Medical X-ray Devices in a low volume industry. You will be working in a cross functional, global team with different nationalities.Reports to:Product Industrialization Engineering Manager IGT Systems in Suzhou.About Philips:Philips Suzhou is a subsidiary of Royal Philips of the Netherlands, a diversified healthcare technology company, focused on improving people’s lives through meaningful innovation in the areas of Precision Diagnosis, Image Guided Therapy, Personal Health and Connected Care.Business Overview:Image Guided Therapy Systems is responsible for Development, Product Marketing, Upstream Service Support and Manufacturing of different segments of healthcare products for global markets. Current products are X-ray based interventional systems, like Cathlab angio systems and Mobile X-ray devices used for Surgery.Role Overview:As a Product Industrialization Engineer within Image Guided Therapy Systems you design, change and implement a high quality, high performing production line for Medical X-ray Devices in a low volume industry. You will be working in a cross functional, global team with different nationalities.Responsibilities:
  • Identifies, designs, implements and validates manufacturing processes, tools and equipment enabling quality and efficiency.
  • Involves manufacturing in new product introductions.
  • Standardizes across various production sites in scope.
  • Executes process technology development activities.
  • Ensures Manufacturing input in new product introduction based on DfMAT.
  • Creates Quality Control Plan and Work Instructions.
  • Obtains, qualifies & installs equipment and supports ramp-up of the process at the production site.
  • Supports in reviewing suppliers manufacturing capabilities.
  • Applies lean manufacturing principles.
  • Employs equipment, practices, and procedures which promote a healthy, safe, and secure work environment.
  • Executes the processes and standards with embedded quality into the way of working including adherence to compliance with safety,
  • Executes Capex optimization for investments
Requirements:
  • Mechanical engineer – Must and needed. (Master)
  • Sound knowledge on setting up production lines.
  • 10 + Years of experience in the manufacturing industry.
