- Inception reports, collecting all the information preliminary to the design.
- Preliminary budget forecast & schedule to be used as base for the HQ design.
- Preliminary design feasibility check and report to HQ
- Preliminary and final design check through local team and report to HQ
- Construction drawings coordination through external stakeholders, quality control vs. brand concept and construction guidelines
- Update of production budget and financial reports
- Tender management / Cost comparison and report to HQ and local executives
- Value engineering solutions
- Contracting support through legal department
- Invoices approval and tracking and coordination through finance department.
- Financial update with local board
- Applications submission and coordination through all the Authorities (landlord, co-ownership, city hall, heritage, etc)
- Collecting the construction information and upgrades (site pictures, weekly report), debrief and first analysis, and reports to HQ.
- Control of the Project Milestones status
- Construction site visits, reports, and consequent actions
- Prototypes/production check in factory and continuous follow-up
- Snagging list and following up / closure
- Site turnover to operations team, technical training coordination through local vendors
- Reporting: Prepare timely updates and details reports (quality, timing, costs) on running projects for Managers / Executives
- Operation &maintenance training to local team at a project turnover to Retail Project Presentations
- Assisting in new project scouting
- Research of new local materials (following London Concept Direction), suppliers, consultants
- CAPEX optimisation solutions
- Construction Manual implementation
- Local vendors scouting / certification through London approval.
- Bulk-orders proposal through local vendors
- Travel budget coordination among local Executives
- OPEX technical budget assistance with the local team
- Maintenance contracts establishment for cleaning, security, and MEP
- Maintenance tracking and follow-up for China Retail stores and offices
- Bachelor’s degree holder in Architecture/Surveying or equivalent
- Minimum 8-10 years of relevant experience gained from a fashion retailer.
- Extensive experience in managing multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Proven experience working with third-party contractors, suppliers, and landlords, with a good global network of affiliates
- Analytical and strong attention to detail
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills are a necessity.
- Excellent communication and people management skills (direct or indirect)
- Good command of written and spoken English and Mandarin
- Proficient in MS Office applications
- Proficient in AutoCAD
- Must be willing to travel.
