Together, we are embarking on a journey where each and every one of us, individually and collectively, welcomes and celebrates individual differences.As a Material Planner/Buyer for Electrification Business Area in Beijing, China, you will be responsible for managing material plan and inventory, executing and optimizing purchasing process, and supporting continuously improvement of value chain efficiency through end-to-end collaboration and digital implementation on supply chainThis position reports toPlanning & Fulfillment ManagerYour responsibilities

Ensuring ,material planning based on production plan and schedule. Manage the material forecast and proactively identifying potential supply risk due to demand change or supply chain bottlenecks. Drive cross-functional actions to mitigate supply risk and secure continuous material supply
Being responsible for material purchasing process implementation and continuous improvement. Implementing various approaches to fulfill the operational requirements, e.g. VMI, JIT, Kanban and etc..
Collaborating with suppliers to improve process efficiency. Meet on time delivery KPIs and reduce suppliers’ lead time.
Being responsible for material inventory management to meet DIH and inventory KPIs. Apply inventory & safety stock model, and actively update inventory parameters based on the demand change. Ensuring material stock accuracy, reduce aging stock and improve inventory efficiency and healthiness
Implementing digital tools along overall workflow, e.g. material planning & forecasting, purchasing process digitalization with suppliers, and data connection with suppliers to collaborate on end-to-end planning & inventories.
Facilitating overall value chain optimization and improvement. Implement value stream mapping and analysis, reduce cycle time along the value chain and improve the supplier’s performance

Your background

Bachelor or Master degree
At least 3 years working experience in buyer position or relevant areas, incl. material planning, purchasing and inventory management
Digital tool & system project experience and implementation practice, e.g. SAP, PowerBI, POC, Ariba SCC, etc.
Strong data analysis skills and logic thinking. Good communication skills and teamwork spirit
Result oriented and taking ownership. Systematic thinking
Open-minded, innovative and continuous improvement spirit
Good written and oral communications skills in English
