They are responsible for product development, and qualification from market definition through production and release; assist in the qualification of suppliers for new products to ensure suppliers deliver quality parts, materials, and services for new or improved manufacturing processes; conduct feasibility studies, testing on new and modified designs; direct and support detailed design, testing, prototype fabrication and manufacturing ramp. The R&D/Product Development Engineering Teams provide all required product documentation including, but not limited to, Solid Model, 2D/3D production drawings, product specifications, and testing requirements. They create and modify detailed drawings and drafting or conceptual models from layouts, rough sketches or notes and contribute to design modifications to facilitate manufacturing operation or quality of product. Typical fields of expertise include: materials, mechanics and systems, electrical, optics, chemistry, software, automation systems, packaging, testing and measurement, and manufacturing of electrical, mechanical and electronic components, products, and their integration into systems.What your background should look like:工作职责：
1. Develops knowledge of relevant new technologies, materials, equipment and market trends, and applies knowledge to development new products and determine needs and opportunity to improve existing products.
2. Provides innovative solutions to higher customer requirement, reduce product cost, improve product quality, and improve process efficiency.
3. Organize and facilitate Design Review (DR) and Design Failure Modes & Effects Analysis (DFMEA) reviews. Implement quality planning and controls for prototype and/or qualification sample builds, include internal making cable and outsourced cables.
4. Complete measurement system analysis for inspection systems and gages to be utilized for the project.
5. Review and analyze samples, quality issues and improvement actions during prototype making and CTAR/Qualification.
6. Lead sample preparation for product verification and qualification testing for out sourced cables.
7. Conduct and analyze process capability and stability studies for outsourced cables.
8. Collaborate with MPDE/Bulk cable suppliers, monitor process capability/data and oversee ongoing corrective actions as required, analyze physical/SI data and make qualification report.
9. Provide leadership, coaching and training to engineers.任职要求：
1. Bachelor's or Master's Degree in science or technology.
2. 10 years min. working experience in bulk cable design or manufacturing.
3. Familiar with SI knowledge.
4. Six Sigma Green Blet or above.
5. Good at quality analysis tool like Minitab
