Accountable for corporate service and IT/IS category within Lubrizol APAC region, to carry out strategic sourcing initiatives based on category management approach, and to ensure that the company’s operational needs are met, considering price, quality, service, delivery, and to ensure continuity of supply for materials and service.RESPONSIBILITIES:
- To establish category vision, strategy, and roadmap
- Conduct spend & market analysis to develop supply market strategies and/or to leverage at country or regional level
- Utilize deep understanding of industry, supplier dynamics and market trends to determine sources.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define strategy landing process & vendor performance KPIs.
- Supplier performance management at country or regional level
- Create and model Total Cost of Ownership for categories and sourcing decisions to achieve cost reductions and supply reliability.
- Be the regional single contact window within this category and participate into global category meetings on behalf of APAC
- Centralized buyer who lead negotiation with supplier to establish contracts and costs for the category.
- BA/Post Graduate qualification or equivalent in supply chain, business administration, engineering, or other technical degree
- At least 5 years' experience in similar role within multi-national company
- Strong understanding of corporate service & IT/IS category
- Local and International market and supplier knowledge with experience in leading project execution and strategic sourcing initiatives
- Preferably with experience from a chemical manufacturing environment
- Proficient skills on MS office as Word, Excel, PPT etc.
- Fluent in both written and oral Chinese and English language
