DescriptionTeach in Beijing, ChinaEconomics TeacherAugust 2026 startSeekTeachers is seeking an experienced Economics teacher to join our client in Beijing, China. Located in the Chaoyang District, the school offers modern, state-of-the-art facilities and currently enrols over 800 students from K–12. The school follows a dual curriculum in its Primary and Lower Secondary divisions, integrating both the Chinese and English curricula. Students in High School then progress to rigorous international programmes such as IGCSE, followed by either A Level or the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme.Key Responsibilities:*Plan and deliver engaging lessons in Economics aligned with international curricula such as IGCSE, A Level, or the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme.*Teach key economic concepts including microeconomics, macroeconomics, market structures, and global economic issues.*Develop students’ analytical, critical thinking, and data interpretation skills through case studies and real-world examples.*Assess and monitor student progress, providing clear feedback to support academic improvement.*Prepare students for internal and external examinations and coursework requirements.*Contribute to curriculum development, collaborate with colleagues, and participate in school activities and professional development.Qualifications & Experience*Bachelor’s degree in Economics or a related subject.*A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).*Minimum of 2 years’ teaching experience, preferably in an international school setting.*Experience teaching international curricula such as IGCSE, A Level, or the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme is highly desirable.*Strong subject knowledge and the ability to teach Econonmics across secondary levels.*Excellent classroom management and communication skills.Teach in BeijingTeaching in Beijing offers an exciting opportunity to build your career while experiencing one of the world’s most historic and dynamic cities.
