For a sneak peek into life at allnex, don’t miss our !Position overviewallnex invites you to join us as a Technical Service and Development Specialist in Shanghai, China. As an expert of TS&D, you will deliver sustainable new product application and development projects while also working as part of cross-functional teams to meet regional/global customer and business needs on schedule and effectively. You will also contribute technical skills to help build specialized application technology for the product range.Are you interested in working on coating formulation development, scientific presentations, and helping with the commercialization of our new products?Join us and make an impact together!Responsibilities

Provide continuing technical support to existing and potential customers, establishing a proper balance between effort and value offered.
Support business growth through the establishment of new applications and the enhancement of existing products, while ensuring intellectual property is protected.
Act as the role model to our R&D colleagues.
Develop and maintain market segment and customer account expertise in your own field of specialization.
Contribute to the delivery of the sales budget and achieve positive outcomes for the product line.
Collaborate with Sales and Marketing team in the development of business growth plan and execution of the plan.
Promote allnex's technological expertise, products, and new innovations to our customers.
Maintain extensive technical understanding of customer application methodologies.
Represent allnex in forums and conferences within your unique area of application expertise and knowledge.

Required skills and experience

5 years and above of experience in the coating technologies/industry.
In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with formulation, applications and raw materials for coatings.
Experience in customer support.
Make technical presentations in conferences, product presentations and training to customers.
Continuously develop technical skills and knowledge within areas of responsibility.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Strong results orientation.
Ability to multi task to balance work on lab projects and customer travel.

Qualifications

Bachelors/Masters Degree in Chemistry, other scientific disciplines and/or equivalent technical experience may be considered.
