1. The period of service will be from 4th March of 2018 to 15th January of 2019.
2. Party B will be subject to a probationary period during the first 60 days of this contract.
3. If for some reason, such as Party B's physical or mental health or professional qualifications, Party B is unable to meet the requirements agreed upon, Party A may terminate the contract.
4. Party A shall help Party B apply for the work permit, foreign expert certificate and residence permit, and Party A will pay for them. Party B shall bear all the expenses and this contract will be automatically terminated if the Chinese government refuses to issue the work permit, foreign expert certificate or residence permit due to Party B's fault. Party A shall pay the special travel expenses for coming to China and leaving if the work permit, foreign expert certificate or residence permit has been refused due to Party A's fault.
5. Party B shall be paid the amount of salary according to the “SALARY” section during the probationary period.
II SALARY AND ALLOWANCE:
1. Unless otherwise specified herein, all amounts noted herein are gross figures (before tax), including the monthly salary, travel allowance, and bonus for perfect attendance involved in this contract.
2. Party B will be paid by Party A RMB Yuan as the monthly salary on the Institute's payday (the last day of each month) with paid summer vacation. If Party B's work does not cover a full month, then the salary will be paid according to each work day, the daily salary being 1/30 of the monthly salary.
3. If Party B's weekly class hours exceed the contracted hours (see WORKLOAD part), Party A shall pay Party B at a rate of RMB100 Yuan per class hour (45 minutes) for the overtime teaching.
4. Party B will be paid RMB3,000 Yuan as a travel allowance at the end of the one-year service.
5. Party B will be paid RMB1,000 Yuan as a Bonus for Perfect Attendance upon the completion of the contract if he fulfills all the duties listed and satisfies the following conditions:
(i) Party B has no breach of discipline, for example, missing classes without Party A's consent, being late for classes, etc;
(ii) Party B has no breach of the terms of this contract;
(iii) Party B takes sick leave of less than ten class hours (includes the tenth class hour) each semester and makes up all missed classes.
6. Party B will be lent a teacher's meal card which will be put in RMB 1,200 Yuan per semester by Party A as meal allowance. The allowance can only be spent in any canteens (including the stores in the canteens) of Party A, and the money inside the card cannot be cashed. When the contract is terminated, Party B should return the teacher's meal card to Party A and all the balance inside the card will not be cashed by Party A.
