From setting up a new business to managing the cash and trade flows of an established enterprise, the Business Banking team of Relationship Managers and Business Specialists provides a range of end-to-end solutions designed to help small and large businesses reach their potential.We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team.The job holder is responsible for managing a team of multiple RMs. Main responsibility is to grow the team portfolio in a sustainable manner for Business Banking in respective region.Help team to build up a strong network of referral sources to provide new-to-bank lead for sustainable channels of prospect pipeline. Actively work with internal/external stakeholders to improve delivery efficiency.To recruit, train, engage and retain Relationship Managers and supporting roles in accordance with HSBC requirements. Buildup a risk based culture and mindset with in the team.Setup and implement an effective credit and operational risk management framework within the team. Engage in regular dialogues with credit risk for Judgmental as well as program lending on product, portfolio monitoring and process. Minimise impairment charges.RequirementsTo be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:At least relationship management experience of 10 years of which min. 3 years in team Management.Proven ability in identifying and meeting customer needs through a broad range of international products and services. Strong credit assessment skills, particularly with regard to more complex and structured facilities with an international dimension.Good understanding of the international business trade cycle, forex transactions and the business processes involved when importing and exporting and ability to apply structured bank solutions to match those needs.Good level of business acumen and international commercial awareness, including economic, cultural, procedural and regulatory issues.You’ll achieve more when you join HSBC.HSBC is committed to building a culture where all employees are valued, respected and opinions count.
