Markem-Imaje delivers fully integrated solutions that enable product quality and safety, regulatory and retailer compliance, better product recalls and improved manufacturing processes.The RoleThe Inventory planner - ASIA, reporting to the Global Inventory Manager, will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective management of the inventory in our main Asian production and distribution sites. This role involves the control of key supply parameters and a close collaboration with other supply chain departments, project teams and other Divisions to ensure that inventory and service levels are maintained at optimal levels.What you will do:

Define and maintain supply parameters and supply strategy at part number level as per Plan For Every Part (PFEP) policy, in order to keep Service Level and Inventory health indicators at the expected level.
Drive Root cause Analysis and corrective actions in link with Service level and Inventory health indicators.
Identify inventory profile optimization and scrap reduction opportunities, define and monitor action plans with departments in charge of the execution.
Control the respect of standard Material Requirement Planning processes in collaboration with procurement, production and logistics teams.
Contribute to the Purchase Order Validation process.
Manage the validation of physical inventory adjustments for the region in collaboration with Supply chain and Finance Management.
Monitor Regional intra / intercompany inventory, identify deviations and improvement opportunities in collaboration with procurement teams.
Contribute to Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process and more specifically to the weekly Master Production Schedule process, focusing on inventory and recovery plans when needed.
Review and recommend Service Level Strategy by technology.
Act as a key member of New Product Introduction, Phase out or Flow change project teams.
Support local teams in forecast analysis and communication process.

What you need to have:

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field
Supply Chain Management certification is a plus
3+ years of experience in Supply Chain
Ability to analyze and interpret supply chain data
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; Attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Knowledge of supply chain principles and best practices
Strong organizational and time management skills
Proficiency in MS Office (mainly Excel) and ERP systems (e.g. SAP)
