To carry out software activities on production support, development and customer projects professionally and to the customers' expectations (medium level).

About the job:

Is responsible for handling of several mid- and large size software projects at the same time in accordance with time schedule and budget established by the main PM.
Carry out automation engineering which include specification of complete systems, software specification of industrial automation, control-, starter- and HMI-panels, necessary technical documentation, Functional Design Specification, O&M manuals and FAT of the control panel.
Specification of RFQ for automation (PLC and HMI) based on input from Process and Electrical Hardware engineer.
Close cooperation with purchase in handling of suppliers and cooperation with Sourcing for assessing and implementing new suppliers.
Ensure cost optimization on projects by optimizing design, procurement etc.
Support FAT, commissioning and troubleshooting either on distance or on site.
Coach and mentor new Software engineers. Check the quality of their work and help them resolve problems.
Experience with Team Center, Git and B&R PLC’s is a plus.

What you know:

Experienced engineer with an understanding of western work-culture (asks for support and can admit when he/she does not know the solution).
Good English with a preference for calling rather than sending emails when possible.
Focus on improvements for the product/production with a Growth Mindset for own development.
Can work independently and pro-actively.
Readiness for travel.
