- Lead and manage the ESL department (approx. 10 ESL teachers) including onboarding, scheduling, coaching, and performance management
- Set clear academic expectations and ensure consistent delivery across grade levels
- Conduct classroom observations, provide feedback, and drive continuous improvement in teaching quality
- Coordinate curriculum planning, lesson objectives, assessment approaches, and use of teaching materials
- Support student progress tracking and parent communication where needed
- Collaborate with school leadership on timetables, staffing plans, and academic priorities
- Maintain a positive, well-managed learning environment and strong team culture
- Teach approximately 5 classes per week (as required)
- Bachelor’s degree or above
- Proven school leadership experience (Principal / Vice Principal / Academic Director / Head of Department / Coordinator level)
- Strong understanding of ESL/EAL teaching and pedagogy; able to coach teachers effectively
- Confident communicator with strong organization and people-management skills
- Excellent English communication skills (Mandarin is a plus)
