Employer: VOI Technology AB Changzhou Representative OfficeLocation: Changzhou, Jiangsu, ChinaYOUR MISSION AT VOIAs Quality Assurance Engineer you will be based in China to work close to our suppliers. Your main focus will be to identify the root cause for battery and vehicle issues, collaborate with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to improve the overall quality and lifetime of batteries and vehicles. This will include:

Overseeing the production of micromobility batteries, scooters, and e-bikes to ensure they meet Voi’s quality standards with activities including reviewing pass criteria for supplier quality checks as well as conducting and signing off quality checks of samples for each production day.
Identifying quality issues, determining root causes, and working with suppliers to develop and implement effective mitigation and resolution actions during both production and aftermarket phases.
Travelling to supplier sites as needed to work hands-on, build strong relationships, and resolve issues.
Setting up new suppliers for Voi by starting up relationship with suppliers, doing audits, support evaluation of samples, being part of the RFQ process and then continuing managing the suppliers from a quality perspective.
Travelling to Sweden and other European locations approximately three times per year to collaborate closely with Voi’s European teams.

WHAT YOU NEED TO EMBARKWe are looking for an independent expert with a hands-on and analytical approach, and clear communication skills who can manage supplier relationships. In addition to being fluent in English and Chinese, we believe the right person has:

Strong experience working with suppliers in China and ideally also Europe
Experience working with Western (European or North American) teams
Ability to collaborate with many different functions including project managers, electrical engineers, test & verification engineers as well experience working with procurement, FW team, QA and supply chain team
Strong experience in quality
Experience of leading root cause analysis both hands on through analysis of processes and assemblies
Experience of leading work to define mitigation and corrective action and being part of the verification of the corrective action
Experience working with DFMEA, PFMEA
A positive attitude and eager to learn new topics
