- Create and develop menus and recipes
- Build collaborative relationships with suppliers to ensure the best price and quality is achieved when purchasing food
- Maintain the highest food quality and sanitation standards
- Ensure the ultimate guest experience in the hotel
- Drive high standards of food preparation in order to increase profitability of the hotel
- Enforce the implementation of food safety programs throughout the entire division
- Has a passion for Food & Beverage
- Always thinks outside of the box
- Enjoys being creative
- Has good organisational skills
- Has experience in either a luxury restaurant or a 5* hotel environment
- Leads by example
- Enjoys interacting with people
- Communicates and writes with fluency in English
- Detail-minded, creative and has the ability to drive and lead change
- Always aware of latest market trends and industry updates
- Must be a friendly, helpful and trustworthy leader
- Displays curiosity and takes time to learn and understand new culinary trends
