We are looking for a candidate with passion for technical solutions combined with business acumen in engineering. If you are looking for a company of “care and perform” and work with a high performing team to deliver results, join us as a Design Engineer, with focus on offshore & power projects (wind farm, FPSO, power plant, etc.).What You'll do As a Design engineer, you will work in the Hilti Regional Project Management Office (PMO) and direct your efforts to drive technical customer engagement through value engineered solution based on Hilti modular support system and firestop system. You will join Hilti global project business community of highly motivated and passionate professionals, working with them to deliver Hilti Integrated Project Solutions (IPS).Your main responsibilities:
  • Design & model modular support system applications (pipe support, electrical support, HVAC support, Multiple-discipline support, 3D structure) based on Hilti Lead Engineer’s inputs, providing optimal solutions fulfilling technical, economic, and logistic boundary conditions, ensuring the adherence to relevant design codes and Hilti standards.
  • Ensure proper technical documentation including calculation reports, shop drawings, product drawings, GA drawings, etc.
  • Compile a bill of materials to support project bids and fulfilment, in coordination with sales and logistics team.
What You’ll Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, ocean engineering, structural engineering, or related majors.
  • Around 3 years of relevant working experience. Candidates with project experience in wind farms, offshore engineering and power industry are preferred.
  • Required mechanical modelling capability: proficient in at least one of the Inventor, UG NX, CATIA or SolidWorks. Preference will be given to candidates who can independently complete 3D parametric design of complex steel structures.
  • Good understanding of structural engineering, familiar with structural software is preferred.
  • Proficient in reading technical English.
