- Act as the main operational and technical point of contact for assigned clients, fostering long-term partnerships.
- Provide expert guidance on classification, statutory requirements, and Port State Control (PSC) compliance.
- Facilitate effective communication between surveyors and customers, ensuring independence in survey decisions while addressing operational inquiries.
Service Quality & Coordination
- Coordinate with Regional/Area Operations teams to ensure timely, efficient, and high-quality service delivery.
- Monitor service timelines, customer feedback, and operational performance to proactively identify and resolve issues.
- Support customers in resolving operational challenges and ensuring optimal service experience.
Technical & Commercial Solutions Development
- Identify opportunities for additional services and tailored solutions during interactions with clients.
- Work closely with commercial and operational teams to develop and implement customized solutions aligned with client needs.
- Promote innovative services based on emerging industry trends and customer requirements.
Fleet Monitoring & Performance Analysis
- Collaborate with Regional/Area teams to monitor the fleet performance of assigned customers, ensuring compliance with classification and statutory requirements.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of customer fleets, including service history, ongoing projects, and operational needs.
- Prepare and share operational performance reports, identifying areas for improvement and efficiency.
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Liaise with Commercial, Technical, and Operational teams to align service delivery with customer expectations.
- Serve as the bridge between technical and commercial functions to balance customer satisfaction with operational efficiency.
- Provide feedback on customer trends, service quality, and improvement opportunities to internal stakeholders.EducationBachelor's Degree in Naval EngineeringQualifications'- Minimum 5 years of experience in ship classification, surveying, or a related maritime industry role.
- Strong understanding of classification rules, statutory regulations, PSC requirements, and operational aspects of vessel management.- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Proven problem-solving skills, with a proactive and solutions-oriented mindset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in coordinating multi-disciplinary teams, preferably across different regions.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results under tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with fleet management tools, reporting systems, and operational KPIs.Competencies
