We are looking for a Secondary School Science Teacher for a bilingual school based in Beijing. This position is available from the upcoming 2026/27 academic year in August, 2026About the schoolPrivate school based in Beijing. It is among the first schools in China authorized by the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO). Offering boarding and day school facilities, it caters to students in primary, middle, and high school levels, encompassing both local and international students. With a diverse community of over 500 staff from various countries and regions, the institution presently houses 75 classes and more than 2,000 students, including 300 students and 60 staff in the Primary School department.Job responsibilities

Teach the subject of Science to secondary school students utilizing IB MYP framework and ensuring an engaging and enriching learning experience
Preparing lessons and lectures, tutoring techniques, designing and correcting assessments, and writing report comments
Collaboratively teach alongside fellow educators, actively contributing to the development and enhancement of the school's curriculum
Assess and monitor students’ progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improve
Provide clear and constructive feedback to students and their parents and caregivers
Develop supportive and safe learning environments

Requirements

Bachelor's degree, Master's degree preferred
Experience in a MYP or secondary Science classroom
Valid teaching certificate or proof of qualified teacher status
Experience working in a bilingual setting preferred
