This role ensures that projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to quality standards.Responsibilities
  • Planning and Scheduling: develop, maintain and oversee detailed project schedules, incorporating all phases from design to commissioning. You use tools like Primavera P6 or MS Project for schedule management.
  • Cost Control: prepare, monitor, update and oversee project budgets. You track expenditures and analyze variances to ensure financial control.
  • Progress Monitoring: collect and analyze data to assess project performance. You produce and oversee regular progress reports, highlighting any issues or deviations.
  • Risk Management: identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies. You lead and implement contingency plans to address unforeseen challenges.
  • Coordination: collaborate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure alignment and communication across all project activities.
  • Documentation: maintain and oversee comprehensive project documentation, including schedules, budgets, progress reports, and change orders.
  • Compliance: ensure all project activities comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental policies.
  • Mentoring: mentor junior Project Control Engineers and support their development.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, project management, construction management or a related field.
  • 10+ years’ experience in Project Controls within the oil and gas sector, energy sector and infrastructure sector.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment and good English capability.
