Also, to comply local design/product standards, and ensuring compliance to codes & industry regulations.As a Mechanical Design Engineer - Valves, you will be responsible for:Executing design and analysis of assigned projects to develop valves meeting customer application needs and specification requirementsReviewing customer specifications and translating customer specification in to order instructions for manufacturing of safety valvesCreating the design review process, ensuring accuracy, quality and design for manufacturability goals are metProviding bills of material, drawing information, test specifications and processing instructions to meet quality and manufacturing requirementsSupporting shop manufacturing for material substitution and disposition of non-conformance reportsCollaborating with other function to handle engineering/application issues, process simplification and improvement.Fuel your passionTo be successful in this role you will:Have a Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering or similarHave minimum 60 months of valve industrial experience in mechanical equipment design and applicationHave experience with ASME B16.34 and PED, 3D design (Solidworks/Ansys), mechanical design & tech writingHave experience with RCC-M and ASME III Nuclear design standard, better be familiar with CNPEC/CNPE quality and designHave experience with Hualong-One, better be familiar with AP1000 and EPR-1000Be better to have good knowledge/understanding of ERP (SAP)Be better to have experience/understanding in manufacturing/reliability/material scienceBe better to have basic knowledge of manufacturing processes such as casting, machining, welding or cutting etc.Work in a way that works for youWe recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
