Together, we are embarking on a journey where each and every one of us, individually and collectively, welcomes and celebrates individual differences.As a Category Specialist for Process Automation Business Area in Shanghai, China, you will be responsible for maintaining, improving, developing supplying base to ensure continuous material supply in terms of better quality, cost, delivery, and service.Your responsibilities

Coordinating with various ABB resources to execute sourcing plans for high-mix and low-volume product and optimizing supply chain; Supplier development/management/localization upon QCS`s actual needs
Being responsible for supplier capacity and lead time management, supplier risk, relationship and sustainability management
Being responsible for Mechanical Category management and responsible for documenting all related files
Being responsible for TCO(total cost ownership) management
Being responsible for ITO achievement driver with mechanical category buyer to fulfill company target
Being responsible for supplier quality improvement and FPY% contribution; As an escalation level, support category buyer to fix OTD issues
Being responsible for taking lead on new supplier audit activities/QBR meeting align with SQE and internal team
Preparing various applicable reports
Performing other task assigned by line manager

Your background

Bachelor’s degree, major in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical designer background is a plus
More than 7 years of experience in category management in Multicultural Environment
High-mix and low-volume purchase experience is preferred
Proficient in MS-Office (Word, Excel, PPT)
Fluency in English
